- 2-3 Tablespoons finely chopped Mint
- 2 Teaspoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar white, Wine or Apple Cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon boiling water
Wash and dry mint and remove leaves from stem before chopping finely. Place in a glass jug.
Sprinkle sugar over mint then add boiling water.
Add vinegar and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Stir well before serving.
Adjust quantities to suit your own taste. Sauce will keep in the fridge for a few days.
